We are an independent church founded on the principles of unconditional love, truth, honesty and integrity.  We are about enjoying our spirituality as we create a Gathering Place for our spiritual family members.  All are welcome here. This is a church that is truly about serving the needs of its members.

The church was formed on 1/5/05.  Our first service was held 2/6/05 at 11:00 AM. We met in temporary quarters generously donated by Rusty Glenn and Kelly Orr at no charge to us.  Don't let the fact that church was held in a warehouse fool you.  Rusty magically transformed a space for us into a magnificent sanctuary. We moved into our current location on May 1, 2005.   

 
Our location is 5415 Maple Ave, Suite 202-A. 
It is actually located on Butler Street, which is one block east of Inwood Road,
just south of the corner of Maple Avenue & Butler Street.

Mission Statement

 
 
The mission statement of The Gathering Place is to provide:
  • Inspiration for daily living
  • Education for understanding spiritual principles
  • Support of one another in our spiritual growth
  • Healing of body, mind, and spirit

So that all God’s children can grow spiritually, be accepted equally, and assist one another in their journey toward peace and light.

Church Doctrine

 
 
We come together as a church family to support the following principles:
  • We believe in a higher power who guides us in accepting and experiencing the gifts of life.
  • We accept and example God’s loving presence within us at all times.
  • Our actions and our words are our foundation of integrity and we embrace and foster love between ourselves, our fellow man and our world.
  • We are loved unconditionally by God, and we are one in that same love.
